Our principal consultant Andy Offord is a Degree Level Qualified Horticulturist experienced in Lecturing in Commercial Horticulture and Practical Horticulture. He has over 11 years of Garden Centre Management Experience, over 10 years of Commercial Growing experience, and has been working in and running his own landscaping business for the last 20 years.  He and his wife Alison have also managed to find time to build and extend their own house, carrying out nearly all of the work themselves.

Our Charges

We have a simple straightforward charging structure for our Rent-an-Expert service. The rates include the services of one consultant and time is charged from arrival on site to departure.

In addition, travel will be charged to and from site according to the schedule below

From our retail  businesses we have learned that there are a lot of people who are keen to create their own landscapes but just need a little help or advice on how to achieve a professional result.  We can give you individual advice for your particular project.  If required we would be able to carry out any of the tasks associated with the project.  How you would like to use us is up to you, we are totally flexible in our approach.

We are landscapers and gardeners and will carry out: Garden design, landscape construction, garden maintenance and general gardening

The types of work undertaken include: Paving, patios, terraces, decking, walling, fencing, paths and driveways, block paving, tarmac, concrete , slab and gravel drives

We will supply and/or erect Garden buildings and structures, greenhouses, sheds, stables and summerhouses

Planting and border preparation, turfing and laying lawns, tree planting and hedging all come within our remit.

We are experts in pond and water garden construction, waterfalls, streams and water features.

Our gardening service includes lawn mowing, pruning and weeding, garden clearance, regular maintenance or once-overs.

We cover Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Monmouthshire.
